Bugs, a purchase that did not arrive, a feature that lies to you, or a user to report. All of it here.

What helps

  • Your iPhone and iOS version
  • The app version — bottom of Settings
  • What you expected, and what happened
  • A screenshot, if there is one to take

None of it is required. It just saves a round trip.

Asked most often

01

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Unplug → Cancel Subscription. Apple runs the subscription, not Unplug, so it can only happen there. You keep everything until the period you already paid for runs out. Deleting your account does not cancel it.

02

I paid, and the app still shows the paywall.

Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it with. That covers a reinstall or a new phone. If it still does not come back, send me the receipt from Apple and I will look at the account.

03

I want a refund.

Refunds run through Apple, not through me: reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory rights are untouched by that.

04

The adult content filter will not switch off.

That is the feature, not a bug. Once you turn it on it stays on for 72 hours, and the confirmation dialog names the exact date and time before you commit to it. When the 72 hours are up, nothing happens by itself — the filter keeps running, it just becomes switchable again.

05

My blocked apps will not come back.

Blocks and your daily limit hold until the next day, on purpose — a block you can undo at the moment you want to undo it is not a block. If you need out now, remove Unplug under iOS Settings → Screen Time, or delete the app. Unplug will not switch a block off early. It never had the power to keep you locked in either, and does not claim to.

06

My steps are not being counted.

Unplug counts from one source per install: Apple Health, or the iPhone itself. iOS deliberately never tells an app whether a Health read permission was granted, so a permanent zero usually means steps are switched off for Unplug. Check iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Unplug. The source in use is named on the screen, right under the number.

07

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Delete account. It asks once, then it is done. Two things it does not do: it does not wipe the app off your phone — your local streak and journal stay until you delete the app itself — and it does not cancel your subscription.

08

Someone is behaving badly.

Write to the address above with the username and what happened. Reports come first, everything else waits. Usernames and profile pictures are the only free-form things in the app, so that is usually what it is about — messages between friends are picked from a fixed list on purpose.
